Message from the Acting Headteacher

Croeso y Ysgol Llandysilio!

We warmly welcome you and thank you for accessing our website. If you have any questions or wish to visit our lovely school, please contact us.
At Llandysilio Church in Wales School, we value community. Our mission statement is Our School, At The Heart Of Our Community.  We aim to provide a rich curriculum built on real life experiences that connects with our local and wider communities, celebrating our Welsh heritage and language.
As a Voluntary Controlled Church in Wales school, our links to St Tysilio Church and the Diocese of St. Asaph are important. Through our ‘Roots and Fruits’ collective worship, children learn Christian values and how to apply them to everyday life.
Our school grounds offer diverse learning opportunities, including a forest area, planting beds and plenty of space for our children to roam and explore their environment.
We seek to nurture each child's talents, fostering success in all areas from academic to sporting and creative. We aim to build positive relationships, helping children develop confidence, resilience, empathy, and acceptance. We value pupil voice, with children from years two to six participating in groups that shape our school. This ensures a vibrant, engaging, and challenging environment. We believe in strong communication with parents and carers and seek to be open and welcoming.
Our vision is that all children in Llandysilio CiW will embark on a journey of creativity, positivity, and happiness, becoming confident, ambitious, and ethical contributors to the 21st century.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school family.
Best wishes,

Mr Richard Andrews

Acting Headteacher, Llandysilio CiW School
